Argentina awaits this year’s Marches for Life as a great public testimony, hoping for the repeal of the abortion law this year.
«We must hold legislators accountable, ensuring they take responsibility for eliminating this genocidal law and stopping state funding for abortion… Argentina is expectant and hopeful, and we want to encourage the world to make abortion unthinkable,» says Mary Suárez, delegate of acTÚa FAMILIA Argentina.
acTÚa FAMILIA, along with other organizations, continues to uphold the cry of “abortion unthinkable” across the Americas.

Several Hispanic American nations, especially Argentina and Chile, are joining in the Marches for Life, a well-established annual event that seeks to defend the right to life of the unborn, repeal abortion laws, and promote a pro-life culture. This year, the march featured the participation of acTÚa FAMILIA in both countries.
Mary Suárez, delegate of this organization in Argentina and a pro-life activist with over two decades of experience, expressed her enthusiasm for the march: «From my more than twenty years of pro-life activism, I can tell you that on the day of Argentina’s march for both lives, I felt that continuing to fight every day was worth it—to unite efforts in defense of the most important human right.«

Suárez also emphasized the importance of holding legislators accountable for defending life and repealing the law that allows abortion. «My task today is focused on personalizing this demand, making those responsible for legislation take ownership of their duty—to ensure that this genocidal law is eliminated and that the state stops funding abortion.»
The march also featured young people who succeeded in getting legislators and candidates to sign a public document committing to defending both lives: «something unprecedented in our country,» she highlighted.
«This way, we will monitor that the actions of those who represent us align with their commitments in legislative chambers. Argentina is expectant and hopeful. Argentina wants to encourage the world to make abortion unthinkable.»

Regarding this, Nanda Agredano, spokesperson for acTÚa Por la Vida, stated, “Our Hispanic American brothers and sisters bear witness in the defense of life: as Catholics, we know we must remain steadfast in this unwavering defense of life from conception to natural death.
Human dignity begins at that very moment—conception. We are grateful that in these countries, they offer a public testimony and an example for us in this defense.»
Furthermore, we remind you that acTÚa FAMILIA continues with the “Mother of the Innocents” campaign and calls on brotherhoods, as Holy Week approaches, to notify them as soon as possible of their intention to receive the brooch, which will be provided free of charge for this purpose, as well as any other pro-life initiatives of the brotherhood.
