
A woman says she was provided an abortion pill, rather than her IVF hormones by CVS.
This effectively killed her embryos. She received nothing but a “sorry” from the pharmaceutical giant responsible for the mistake.

She was just about to begin her IVF hormones following the implantation of two embryos.
After taking the medicine provided to her by CVS, however, Thomas said “I started cramping really bad.”
“It was extreme. It was painful,” she described.
Once Thomas read the pill bottle and searched the drug name, she knew the worst had happened.

CVS was ultimately fined $10,000 for the slip-up between two separate pharmacists involved, and made apologies to Thomas for the mistake.
Thomas recently spoke up about the experience, saying the loss is still affecting her to this day. “All I got was a sorry,” she stated.
“It will never be good enough.”
