In an alarming development, China is leading all other countries in 19 critical high-tech fields.
While U.S. companies are more concerned with going “woke,” it appears our competitors abroad are making significant advancements in science and technology.
In comparison, the United States only leads in four categories. This data has been compiled and analyzed by the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI).

Specifically, China is leading in key military sciences, including “hypersonic weapons.” The country also reportedly holds more significant advancements in “green” technologies such as electric vehicles and battery production.
China is “steadily increasing its already dominant market position,” the report found.
Between 2018 and 2022, China has contributed significantly to 80% of 2.2 million published academic papers.
Tesla is the single biggest company in the EV space, but Chinese companies are controlling a bigger combined share.
Tesla controls 18.9% of the market, but three Chinese companies hold a combined share of 27.7%
Four of the top five producers of insulators for lithium-ion batteries are Chinese companies.
It appears that the United States is falling far behind in its research, development, and expertise and various critical high-tech fields.
