Well, it’s June, and that means certain elements of American society are engaged in a month-long celebration of sin. That’s exactly what “pride” is. In fact, “pride” is often listed as the first of seven deadly sins.

But this year is different.

Donald Trump is back in the White House, and the militant LGBTQ movement is set back on its heels (or stilettos, in the case of drag queens). Major “allies” of the LGBTQ movement are retreating from the Left’s culture war against normalcy.

Corporate America, which eagerly embraced every far-left “social justice” cause for years, finally realized it could push Middle America only so far. The Bud Light backlash and Target boycotts got the attention of C-suites everywhere. After that round of negative publicity came the fallout from lawsuits over discriminatory “diversity, equity, and inclusion” policies.

The result is clear: “Pride” organizers from New York City to San Francisco are struggling to fund their “celebrations.” Major corporations, including Citi, Lowe’s, Nissan, Pepsi, and Walmart, have either reduced or eliminated their sponsorships of LGBTQ events.

No More Grants

And it’s not just the loss of corporate dollars. Trump has cut off taxpayer funding to the LGBTQ movement. According to various reports, the Trump administration has canceled as much as $800 million in LGBTQ-related federal grants.

The National Endowment for the Arts, long a bastion of left-wing extremism, is rescinding grants promoting LGBTQ “art.”

One canceled grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) involved more than $620,000 for an “inclusive teen pregnancy prevention program for transgender boys.” That’s an awful lot of money to stop boys from getting pregnant. (Yes, I know they’re really girls, but we should not be “affirming” or funding their delusions.)

Another eliminated NIH grant would have spent $700,000 to study marijuana use among lesbians. I wasn’t aware that this was a seriously pressing issue.

The Trump administration saved taxpayers $400,000 by stopping the Department of Agriculture from funding a project to supposedly “educate” transgender farmers in San Francisco. Really? How many transgender farmers could there possibly be in San Francisco?

Cutting Pride

Beyond cutting this waste and abuse of our tax dollars, the Trump administration is also cutting the government’s advocacy and promotion of the LGBTQ agenda.

Within days of taking office, Trump issued an executive order directing federal agencies to end radical indoctrination in our schools that promotes transgender ideology and undermines parental rights.

He has publicly called out Democrat governors in California and Maine for allowing boys to cheat in girls’ sports. And I guarantee there will be no transgender women (men) exposing their fake breasts on the White House lawn this month.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth began “Pride Month” by instructing the Navy to rename a ship the Obama/Biden gang named after Harvey Milk, one of the first openly gay elected officials in the country. Milk had a reputation as a sexual predator who targeted teenage boys.

Instead of celebrating “Pride Month,” the Trump Education Department is celebrating “Title IX Month” and the achievements of female athletes. Title IX is the landmark federal law that ensured equal opportunity for girls and women in sports. But the Biden administration perverted the law to let men cheat in women’s sports and invade their locker rooms.

This president and his team are courageously fighting the battle for our culture and our values unlike any previous Republican administration! And Trump’s courage seems to be contagious.

More and more female athletes are taking a stand by refusing to stand on podiums with cheating boys. Students are protesting on behalf of common sense and normalcy. Far from self-censoring, parents are freely expressing their outrage at boys cheating in girls’ sports.

Finally, here’s another encouraging development: One major “Pride” event was actually canceled — not for a lack of funds but for a lack of interest.
