Nine-County Metro Local Candidate Openings

We are actively seeking Christian conservatives interested in applying for positions that currently are shown as being open in the Metro Twin Cities area. Do you wonder why schools are promoting comprehensive sex education, equity, socialism, marxism, and other left-wing ideas? It is because Christians have not had a strong voice in their government. You or someone you know, have an excellent chance to make a difference. Help find strong Christians to fill some of these positions. Change happens first at the local or grass root level.

Progressives are naturally drawn to government positions because of their belief in big government. The only way to change this is to elect Christian conservatives who have a different worldview.

If you live in one of the areas which show open positions, pray about applying yourself or encouraging someone you know to apply. If we continue to allow progressives to fill Mayor, City Council, County Commissioner and School Board positions, things will only get worse. Taxes will continue to increase, schools will become more intense indoctrination institutions and our kids and grandkids will believe a different history of America and the government will continue to become bigger and more costly. HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

To find out where you need to file for a position, go to the Secretary of State’s website. Filing fees vary by position. General fees are listed on this page of the Secretary of State’s website. For specific fees check with the local election clerk’s office. Please pray about your involvement in this important way for Christian conservatives to change the culture.

If you run, an experienced group of people has agreed to provide candidate training to educate you on how to run a campaign, how to finance it, and general information you need to know for each position. Email us at nehemiahreset@gmail.com to let us know you are interested in this training and we will put you in contact with the group. Classroom training would be held in person or on zoom depending upon the situation with the virus.

The spreadsheet is accurate as of August 4, 2020. Candidates file each day so if you want to verify that the position you wish to apply for is still open click here to go to the Minnesota Secretary of State website. Next go to the section entitled “Search By Office”, then select either city/township or school district and position you are interested in and then hit search. This should provide a current list of candidates that have filed for each position. Find the position you are interested in and see who has applied and which positions still have open slots. You can still apply if all positions have a filed candidate, it just means that you will have competition.
